Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using KleanWork ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

KleanWork is a team task management application that provides Kanban boards, notes, password vault, weekly reports, and related productivity features. The Service is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis.

3. Account Registration

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
  • One person per account. Shared accounts are not permitted.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers.
  • Upload malicious content, viruses, or harmful code.
  • Use the Service to store, transmit, or distribute illegal content.
  • Automate access to the Service (scraping, bots) without written permission.
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization.

5. Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you create in KleanWork (tasks, notes, vault entries, etc.). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely to provide the Service to you and your workspace members.

Vault entries are encrypted client-side. We cannot access or read your vault passwords.

6. AI Features

KleanWork offers optional AI-powered features (weekly report summaries) powered by Anthropic. When you use these features, aggregated task data (titles, statistics) is sent to Anthropic for processing. No passwords, vault data, or email addresses are included. AI-generated content is provided for informational purposes and should not be relied upon as professional advice.

7. Workspace & Team Features

  • Workspace administrators can invite members, manage roles, and view activity logs within their workspace.
  • Content created within a workspace (tasks, projects) is visible to all workspace members.
  • Personal data (notes, vault, daily log) is private to each user and not accessible by workspace administrators.

8. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience outages. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned downtime.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, KleanWork and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Service.

10. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your Profile page. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Italy. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Italy.
